What to do in Saint-Gervais during winter?

There is much more to enjoy in the resort of Saint-Gervais than the breathtaking views it offers. Certainly, the Alpine scenery mixed with snowy forests and exceptional slopes makes it a perfect destination to recharge your batteries. However, the list of outdoor activities to do during the winter holidays is very long.

Of course, skiing is one of them. Downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, ski touring... the choice is yours. Booking an exceptional apartment or chalet with ski access will allow you to take full advantage of it. For the ultimate skiing experience, you can opt for the Les Houches/Saint-Gervais ski area (from the Bellevue cable car and the Prarion gondola) or the Évasion Mont-Blanc ski area (from Bettex).

This resort is also known for its thermal baths, which are a popular attraction in the village. Thermal water at 35°C has many therapeutic virtues. Medical cures, dermatological cures, spas and treatments, relaxation workshops..., come and experience the ultimate feeling of well-being at the Bains du Mont-Blanc thermal centre.

Another possibility for winter holidays there is to organise a dog sledging trip to the Plateau de La Croix - especially from the resort of Saint-Gervais/Megeve. What to do in Saint-Gervais during summer?

In summer, there is no shortage of things to do in this village. Whether you want to take a break from the daily grind at home or go on holiday with your family, this Haute-Savoie resort is a great option.

Looking like a utopian town, Saint-Gervais offers a breathtaking landscape, accessible with the vast majority of activities offered by the resort. Take the Mont-Blanc Tramway, for example, for a smooth start to the ascent this mountain. From the Fayet station (580 m above sea level), you can reach the Nid d'Aigle (2,372 m above sea level) to enjoy a breathtaking view of the surrounding area.

You can also discover a magnificent Via Ferrata that climbs perfectly into the Bonnant gorges. Various footbridges and staircases will be at your disposal here. This little mountain walk will reward you with a picnic area. There is also free parking available.

Summer in Saint-Gervais  is also a time for original events. The Alpi Hour Festival (mid-July and mid-August), the Guides' Festival (3 days of festivities in August) or the Mont Blanc Music and Heritage Meeting (in August), the village is enchanted by various events.
