An all-season domain

There's never a dull moment at the Portes du Soleil. Throughout the year, no matter the season, a multitude of activities are available.

The charming orange colours, the crackling of fallen leaves, the picking of blueberries and mushrooms, the bellowing of the deer, the peace and quiet... Autumn in the mountains is magnificent. It's the perfect time to put on your hiking boots and explore the many trails in the Portes du Soleil region. You'll be able to admire a unique spectacle, the silence of the peaks, forests, waterfalls and lakes when the summer season is over.

In winter, of course, you can ski on the 600 km of snow-covered slopes in the Portes du Soleil area. But that's not all! You can also try snowshoeing, Nordic skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing, mushing and many other activities. However you choose to spend your days, the sublime white landscapes alone are worth the effort! And evenings of raclette, Savoyard fondue and tartiflette by the fireside are another good reason to stay in the mountains in winter.

In spring, the sun gradually warms up the resorts, the flowery landscapes are magnificent and the marmots come out of their noses. Skiing is still possible, but at lower prices and with less cover. The high-altitude terraces invite you to enjoy an alfresco lunch with a view of Mont Blanc, and it's also the time of year when the Portes du Soleil presents its Rock the Pistes festival. A great programme to enjoy the arrival of the good weather!

After all, summer is a time when the Portes du Soleil region has so much to offer. Are you more of a sportsman? Hiking, mountain biking, paragliding and climbing are just some of the activities you can enjoy for maximum pleasure and excitement. Or do you prefer to relax? Then why not go horse riding or spend a day on Lake Geneva. With the Multi Pass, whatever you fancy, you'll be able to enjoy all the activities of your choice at low prices!
