It gets its name from a prominent 16-room mansion built during the Belle Époque on a headland above the Côte d'Azur, leased by Rolling Stones' guitarist, Keith Richards, in the early 70s. Superb chalet Nelcote. Great location relative to the centre of Morzine and a short walk from the ski buses. Chalet well furnished, good beds and extensive kitchen equipment. On the downside: one small Nespresso machine for an average of 10-12 people is a bit of a stretch. A few extra tea towels would also be recommended.
