What to do in Val d’Isere during winter?

For the more daring, there is ice climbing in Cogne, Ceillac or the Fressiniere valley, which are close to the Val d'Isere ski resort. Of course, we can't forget the flights in a microlight or helicopter, which will be an excellent opportunity to fly over the most beautiful landscapes of the Savoie and the Alps.


What do in Val d’Isere during summer?

The Northern Alps are also an ideal holiday destination in the summer. The ski resort of Val d'Isere suggests among other things outdoor activities. Specifically, we are talking about a trek in the centre of nature through the Vanoise National Park. This protected area is located close to the village of Val d'Isere and is home to a preserved environment where glaciers, rivers, lush forests, lakes and waterfalls are all found together.

Another option is to hit the mountain bike trails at the Tignes-Val d'Isere bike park for some extreme thrills. Here, 215km of trails run up the centre of the mountain so that beginners and experts alike can enjoy the different routes on offer. Why not also take advantage of your stay in Val d'Isere to cycle over the famous Iseran pass, overlooking the village at an altitude of 2770 m?  

Want to get some height? Consider the via ferrata to discover different breathtaking spots near the resort of Val d'Isere. Roc de Toviere, Plates de la Daille..., get your fill of sensations in an idyllic setting. To discover the landscapes of Val d'Isere, the neighbouring resort of Tignes (and the Alps in general) in summer, book your tandem paragliding or speedfly flight from the summits of Val d'Isere.
