As part of the internationally renowned Paradiski ski area, Peisey-Vallandry may, at times, seem overshadowed by the two-star destinations of Les Arcs and La Plagne. Those keen on downhill skiing, new forms of snow sports and lively evenings will more likely opt for the villages situated at an altitude of 1650 metres, namely Plan-Peisey and Vallandry. From there, they can take the spectacular Vanoise Express cable car and lifts to the heart of the Paradiski ski area, where everything happens in the heart of winter.
