Manigod

The great thing about Manigod is that it is made up of 3 places. The first is the village, which offers one of the most beautiful panoramas of mountain pastures and traditional chalets. You'll also find shops and places to eat. There's the Col de la Croix Fry, the starting point for the Beauregard plateau. Here you'll find restaurants, a ski school and sports shops. Finally, the Col de Merdassier, with its swimming pool in the middle of the meadows and its shopping centre. Here you can watch the sunset and a free fun trail through the forest.

Le Grand-Bornand

Le Grand-Bornand resort extends over 2 altitudes. At 1000m you'll find the village with its typical Savoyard market town, church and shops. 6km further on, at 1300m, the Col de la Colombieres is the starting point for numerous ski runs. Le Grand-Bornand allows you to discover the majestic peaks of the Alps and their unspoilt wildlife. If you're lucky, you might even spot the mythical bearded vulture. Three pairs have lived here since 1987, when the species was reintroduced. In the valleys of Mont-Lachat, with its protected areas, the black grouse awaits you.
