On the Col des Saisies, a monument commemorating the 1944 parachute assault will take you back a few years. As a reminder, on 1 August of that year, an extraordinary operation called "Ebonite" took place to supply the Resistance troops with arms and ammunition. Circuit Balcony of Mont Blanc
This walk is one of the must-dos during your stay in the resort of Les Saisies. It follows a 12km loop that starts in the centre of the village and leads to an incredible panoramic terrace. It offers spectacular views of the majestic Mont Blanc, the Aravis mountain range and the Val d'Arly valley. With a difference in altitude of around 600m, this walk is suitable for intermediate to expert hikers. (Note that the balcony can also be reached by the Chard du Beurre chairlift).

Les Saisies has 61 marked downhill ski runs: 8 green runs, 32 blue runs, 13 red runs and 7 black runs. Among the unmissable ski runs in the heart of the resort are Les Eucherts, Mont de Vorès and Mont Rond.
