For example, you can get off to a gentle start with courses involving bridges, footbridges and zip lines. However, you can also try other more demanding sports such as via ferrata.

Here you'll find a selection of quality products including Beaufort alpage 2 ans d'age AOP, reblochon fermier AOP, tomme de Savoie and bleu de brebis. You can also try local products such as buchette, pancetta, pork tenderloin with spices and many more. The Beaufortain cheese dairy is simply an experience not to be missed if you're a fan of cheese, sausages, charcuterie and Savoyard gastronomy in general.

The programme includes solving challenges and puzzles with the "servans" (little elves) in the heart of the enchanted forest.

On the Col des Saisies, a monument commemorating the 1944 parachute assault will take you back a few years. As a reminder, on 1 August of that year, an extraordinary operation called "Ebonite" took place to supply the Resistance troops with arms and ammunition. From the centre of the village, you can walk to this emblematic site relatively easily in the mild summer weather.

With your orientation map in hand (available at the Hauteluce Ecomuseum or the Les Saisies Tourist Office), you can enjoy the magnificent panoramas that the resort has to offer.
