What to do in La Plagne during winter?

Plagne Centre, Aime-la-Plagne, Plagne-Villages, Plagne Bellecôte, Belle Plagne, Plagne 1800 or Plagne Soleil, each area of this Alpine ski resort is full of activities to do. Of course, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery by yourself, but the ski area is particularly suitable for a family holiday.

In winter, snow sports are very popular with the guests of this resort. Here you can create unforgettable memories as you ski through La Plagne's 225 km of pistes. They are perfect for all skiers, whether you are a beginner or an experienced skier. Depending on your level, you can choose a high-altitude resort (Plagne Centre, Aime-la-Plagne, Belle Plagne, Plagne-Villages, Plagne Soleil, Plagne Bellecôte or Plagne 1800) or a resort in the heart of a traditional village (Champagny-en-Vanoise ski area, Plagne Montalbert, Montchavin and Les Coches).

For a comfortable stay in Savoie, you can book nights (depending on your availability and the number of rooms required) in prestigious accommodations. Whether it's a family chalet, an apartment with a balcony and ski-in-ski-out access or a cosy residence with wellness facilities… you have a choice of holiday rentals in La Plagne. Of course, you can ask Emerald Stay for support and advice on a particular La Plagne property if you need it.

You might also want to try ski joëring - a combination of horse riding and snowboarding, available in La Plagne Montalbert in Savoie. For children, pony sledging is a great alternative for a unique adventure.

Similarly, discover other exciting activities such as hand skiing in Champagny-en-Vanoise, tandem skiing in Les Coches, snowboarding in Plagne Centre, ice skating in Plagne Bellecôte or snake gliss in the village of La Plagne Montalbert. So many adventures to experience in the mountains in the heart of the Tarentaise valley.

What to do in La Plagne during summer?

If you want to get off the beaten track on your La Plagne holiday, visiting the village in summer is a great option. This is especially true if you want to do something in the great outdoors while enjoying the magnificent view of Mont Blanc from the ski area. Again, there are various options available to you in this case.

The first option is to ride your mountain bike down the slopes of the Bike Park in La Plagne. Here you can pedal in peace through the downhill and Enduro routes that wind their way through the forests and alpine meadows. Use the lifts (available in July and August) to save time on your ascent.

For even more adrenaline, you can book a flight over the Tarentaise in the Alps. Paraglide from Plagne Centre, Belle Plagne and Champagny-en-Vanoise to discover the region in a very original way.

Summer in La Plagne is also an opportunity to try white water sports. Take a trip down Isere, the famous river of the Tarentaise and the Alps and choose the activity that interests you most. Canoeing and rafting along the Aime rapids or the Centron gorges, kayaking in Macot-la-Plagne, hydrospeed from Aime-la-Plagne to Centron or canyoning from Plagne Montalbert, you are spoilt for choice.

By choosing the right holiday accommodation in La Plagne, you will be staying close to the region's top summer activities. This will ensure that your stay is more than enjoyable.
