A summer holiday in the French Alps promises a rewarding discovery of nature and all it has to offer. During your holiday in the ski resort of La Clusaz in particular, you will have the opportunity to explore the Aravis massif thanks to various hiking trails. There are many different routes to choose from and they are accessible to all levels. A hike to the Tardevant lake, for example, will take you to a magnificent viewpoint perched at an altitude of 2120 m. Starting from a valley in the Aravis mountain range, you can also recharge your batteries through the mountain pastures and contrasting landscapes of the Haute-Savoie.
To admire the superb panorama offered by the Aravis massif, there are also unique paths. The Tête du Danay and its superb view from the heart of the Bornes Aravis massif, the Beauregard plateau and its walks along the slopes and forests, the Col des Annes and its typical Aravis farms... These hiking trails will certainly not leave you indifferent.
In addition, the ski resort of La Clusaz lends itself very well to white water sports during the summer. The rivers of the Haute-Savoie await you for an adrenalin-filled descent. Canyoning, rafting, canorafting, hydrospeed, it's up to you to choose the discipline that inspires you the most. From the Angon waterfall to the Grenant and Montmin canyons, you have the choice to practice your favourite mountain activity. Of course, the natural heritage of La Clusaz and the Aravis is also a real paradise for fishermen.
For those who want to make the most of the ski area of La Clusaz, it is possible to opt for summer sledging. This is a must-do summer activity and is great for families. You can even go downhill on a clear night to admire the exceptional panorama. Two dedicated runs are accessible from the village centre. Take the ski lifts (notably the Patinoire gondola) to make it easier for you. These can also be useful to get you to the mountain bike trails or to the starting point for a paragliding flight.
