What to do in La Clusaz?

In the centre of the village of La Clusaz, discover 2 long summer toboggan runs which stretch over 800 m and are situated at an altitude of 1,053 m. Accessible from the Patinoire gondola, this decidedly fun area promises new sliding sensations during the summer season. It is an ideal choice for fun with family and friends. The Bike Park offers no less than 125 km of signposted routes, i.e. 21 tracks of varying levels of difficulty. The fun zone is particularly aimed at beginners, but also at those who want to have a good time with their family. There are also 9 downhill and enduro trails as well as 4 panoramic e-bike trails. In the summer, you will certainly have the pleasure of tackling courses such as the Trace du Belier, the Juments track or the Tour du Danay.

A summer holiday in La Clusaz is the perfect time to take part in various water activities. For half a day, a day or a weekend, try the fun of white water on the Haute-Isere. Rafting, canorafting, hydrospeed, airboat, etc., join (in the company of a qualified instructor) the most beautiful courses in the region. Between Bourg-Saint-Maurice and Centron, opt for rafting on the rapids of the Isere and take the opportunity to explore the surrounding area.

The Confins leisure park in particular offers activities for the little ones including, among others, a "baby adventure" zone with 7 workshops and a small zip line, but also 6 trampolines. For the more courageous, the park offers two large zip lines of 300 and 700 m above the Confins lake. A course combining the two will extend the pleasure over 1,000 m. A guaranteed fun break!

Located in the centre of the village (on the Giguet field), the Belier Club offers a multitude of attractions for the whole family to enjoy. For the greatest pleasure of children, the leisure centre has a bouncy castle (for 2 to 5 year olds), 4 trampolines (for over 5 year olds) or the Trophy Kids safari (accessible from 4 years old). To vary the pleasure, let your children enjoy in a safe environment playful activities such as the bumper boat, the big air bag or the zip line.

Skateboarding is making its debut as the "trendy discipline" for holidaymakers in the Alps. To satisfy the desires of young skaters, La Clusaz offers them a park in the heart of the village. The key: a unique sliding experience in a good mood, conviviality and benevolence. Families can also take advantage of this to meet up for a picnic and have fun in a warm atmosphere. All this, while of course watching the riders' progress, who can choose between skateboarding, rollerblading or scootering.

Are you looking for extraordinary landscapes to contemplate? The Aravis pass is a particularly interesting choice. It is part of the famous "Route des Grandes Alpes", but you can always opt for a shorter hike when you are in La Clusaz. In this case, the circuit will take you up to 1486 m in altitude, crossing unique paths between the alpine pastures. In summer, you can even hike with the sound of cowbells in the background. You can also ride the 19 km circuit on a mountain bike if you wish.

The summer season is ideal for gentle walks in the heart of a flowery mountain site in La Clusaz. And the Beauregard plateau is certainly one of the best places to admire this natural wealth. During your walk of about 1 hour and 50 minutes from the Croix-Fry pass (Manigod), you will notice the various viewpoints which offer magnificent panoramas of the Aravis chain and the Mont-Blanc massif, but also of the other hamlets such as Étale, Charvin, Sulens, Glieres and Tournette

Right in the middle of the Aravis mountains, this glacial lake perched at an altitude of 2110m is a great classic of La Clusaz hikes. If the weather allows it, you can even continue your hike up to the "Pointe" (2501 m altitude) to admire an unbeatable panorama overlooking Mont Blanc. Accessible from the Confins car park, this itinerary (which is reserved for experienced hikers) will allow you to discover incredible places such as the Rochers de La Salla, the Paccaly-d'en-Haut alpine chalet or the combe de Tardevant.
