What we love about Flaine

A stay in the ski resort of Flaine is an opportunity to contemplate some magnificent Alpine scenery. Its highest point is the Grandes Platières summit at 2,500 m altitude. It offers a breathtaking 360° panorama.

Flaine is also a picturesque village renowned for its exceptional sculpture park. Take a stroll through the town, and you'll be able to admire some magnificent works, including Le Boqueteau, La Tête de Femme and Les Trois Hexagones.

Ideal for hiking and mountain biking, its specially prepared trails also reveal the most beautiful facets of the French Alps.

Of course, there are plenty of other activities on offer in the resort. Dog sledging, snow trails, ice quad biking, buggy rides, paragliding or hot-air ballooning, experience extraordinary adventures in Flaine and the surrounding area.

Connected to the Grand Massif ski area, Flaine offers a huge playground to explore without moderation. During your winter holidays, set off to conquer its 146km of pistes, suitable for all levels. You won't be disappointed!

With ideal snow conditions throughout the season, breathtaking scenery and an incredible choice of slopes, Flaine has plenty to offer. Here you have access to :

You'll enjoy exploring the resort thanks to the 24 lifts available.

In addition to the must-do runs, such as the Combe de Gers (suitable for more experienced skiers), the resort also offers visitors five secure freeride runs. Flaine is also home to the highest Nordic area in the Alps, with the best snow cover (the Col de Pierre Carrée)
