In addition to the shared laundry facilities available within the residence, Apartment Mathilde conveniently features its own washer and dryer, offering extra comfort and independence during your stay.

There are two private balconies: one features a cosy outdoor sofa, cushioned chairs, and a coffee table, making it the ideal morning coffee or evening drink spot. The second balcony has a small dining table where you and your loved ones can share al fresco meals or afternoon snacks. After a long day of adventure, unwind in the residence's shared wellness area, which includes a sauna, jacuzzi, and indoor swimming pool.

In the village of Les Houches, Apartment Mathilde is just a short stroll from local shops, inviting French cafés and traditional restaurants. Chamonix is just a short drive away, with its Michelin-starred dining, chic boutiques, and vibrant après-ski scene. We had a lovely stay at Apartment Mathilde in Les Houches. The apartment was beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything we needed for our week in the Alps. The location was perfect — just five minutes from the ski lifts and close to the bus stop, making it very easy to get to Chamonix as well. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay here.

We stayed at Apartment Mathilde for a week on Feb 26. The apartment was fabulous, beautifully equipped and appointed. The jacuzzi and sauna were most welcome after a long day on the slopes. There was some less than ideal weather during our stay, and Les Houches was THE perfect place to be. We didn’t miss a single day of skiing despite the fact that the rest of the Alps was closed! Just a short 2 min walk to the lively bars and cafes, and a quick bus ride to the fabulous restaurants of Chamonix.

We stayed in Mathilde a wonderfully appointed apartment, absolutely everything we needed was there. The entire apartment was thoroughly clean, immaculately presented, and maintained. The entire complex is well thought out with every convenience considered. The buildings are also brilliantly located, walking distance from shops, restaurants, ski lifts, and ski hire. Booked to come back again in 2026, have not bothered to look elsewhere.
