Our story
After first getting to know each other during their studies, Laurent and Maxime met again in Geneva in 2017, years after working in finance, real estate, hospitality and technology.
Confronted first-hand to the inefficiencies of existing 360° solutions to rent out second homes, they started exploring why the equivalent of a modern, branded hotel chain did not exist for private homes.
Could a new operating model be built - not only an online website with listings - a model that vertically integrates real estate with hospitality services and technology ?

We walk right beside our guests at every step of the rental process, from the booking to the stay itself, and we are the only point of contact from beginning to end. At each destination, one of our local Emerald Stay® team members is fully devoted to maintaining properties up to our quality, health and security standards. She is also on standby to assist you with extra services, information or questions about the home. In parallel, a digital concierge service is available at each property to ensure you can organise your entire stay digitally and autonomously, in case that were your preference.
