Located near the Vanoise National Park, Peisey-Vallandry is a resort that lives intensely in the four seasons. Outdoor activities are plentiful, as are good addresses for sharing moments of conviviality. Here is a small overview of everything you can do during your stay in one of our properties in Peisey-Vallandry.
Adrenaline
For half a day or a full day, in a group or alone with a guide, snowshoeing will give you a unique view of the natural riches of the Tarentaise. You will evolve in the middle of snowy plains or forests to soak up the local fauna and flora. Several themes are proposed by Bistou Montagne, such as the hike in the glaciers or the taste walk with a gourmet break at the end.

Summer and winter alike, fly over the resorts of Peisey-Vallandry and Les Arcs in a two-seater paraglider, accompanied by a state-qualified instructor. This sensational activity is open to everyone from a very young age, as children from 5 years old can have their first paragliding experience. Count on 6 to 8 minutes of flight for the station flight and up to 20 minutes for the big flight. The take-off can be done on skis or snowboards in winter.

Treat yourself to a child's dream of a one-hour ride on a reindeer sled pulled by Nevada and Geronimo reindeer while trading the resort of Peisey-Vallandry for the wide-open spaces of Lapland. Comfortably installed on the sled or walking on snowshoes next to it, you will have time to admire the enchanting scenery between snow-covered peaks and forest passages and certainly cross paths with some of the wild animals of the Vanoise National Park.

Accompanied by a high mountain guide, they set out to conquer an extraordinary natural setting: the frozen waterfalls located at the bottom of the Peisey valley. Whether a beginner or an experienced climber, you will easily find ice falls adapted to your level. This weather-sensitive experience can be enjoyed alone or in groups of up to 6 people.

An endurance and precision sport, biathlon will allow you to test your skill and concentration in the official stadium equipped with an approved shooting range on the Peisey-Vallandry Nordic site. A 22 long rifle for adults and a laser rifle for children are provided for this activity which is entirely safe and open to everyone from the age of 7.

Don't let the name fool you. Le petit hibou restaurant will take you on a world tour with its inventive Mediterranean and Asian cuisine inspired by the globe-trotting experiences of its New Zealand chef. Just as original and inspired, the drinks menu will take you off the beaten track, and you may even be tempted by Mt Houblon, the beer brewed in the restaurant's cellar. A gourmet address not to be missed!
Foodies
Home cooking, traditional, inventive and modern at the same time, elaborated from fresh and local products, have earned the restaurant le Coeur de Vall' the coveted distinction of Maître Restaurateur. You may as well say that you can go there with your eyes closed and take full advantage of the refined dishes that are served all winter in a warm and friendly setting typical of snowy mountain chalets.
Foodies
The Solan d'Aniathazze offers a comforting and generous home cooking concocted from fresh products between local specialities and traditional brasserie dishes. To accompany its good food, the establishment has developed a wine list rich in local products in particular. In addition to the restaurant, you can enjoy the bar located directly on the ski slopes, near the Vanoise Express cable car.
Foodies
At Chez Felix in Plan Peisey, you will find something to share a great moment of conviviality in the dining room or on the south-facing terrace, over a Savoyard or Burgundian fondue or a pierrade. Brasserie dishes are also on the menu, and sweet and savoury crêpes that you can enjoy at any time. The restaurant is open all year round, but reservations by telephone are recommended for the evening.
Foodies
The Mojo Bar is the place to be for festive apres-ski in Peisey-Vallandry. It welcomes you until 2 am with concerts and DJ sets. You can share a charcuterie or cheese board and sip one of the many cocktails on the menu. Every week, the Mojo Bar has surprises in store for you with sports broadcasts and themed evenings, the programme of which is revealed on their social networks.
Fun for kids
This is an activity that the whole family will enjoy! Every Wednesday, from 5.30 pm to 9 pm, the resort hosts a mobile laser game where young and old, from the age of 4, compete in a play area equipped with inflatable elements, smoke, sounds and lights to get the adrenaline going. Each participant is equipped with a launcher to aim at their opponents and will have to compete to avoid their shots.

Accompanied by Chipie, Litchi or Canabis to carry your children and your backpacks, you will discover all the treasures of the Rosuel valley located at the entrance of the Vanoise National Park. You will choose between several marked trails that will allow you to do a loop of 1h30, 2h30, 4 hours or a day. And if you want, even more, Francis can plan a multi-day itinerary with overnight chalet stays in an alpine refuge: total immersion guaranteed!
Fun for kids
Are your children a bit of a daredevil? Give them a good dose of adrenaline with white-water activities, open to everyone from the age of 8. Rafting, cano-raft, canyoning, kayaking or hydrospeed will allow them to go beyond their limits in complete safety. You will be supervised throughout the activity in Landry, on the Isere river or in Salins-Fontaine, on the Doron de Bozel.

Until the 19th century, Peisey-Vallandry was called Les Monts d'Argent because of its significant mining activity linked to the extraction of silver-lead. The village has preserved many relics from this rich past, which can be discovered along a museum trail. During the summer, children can participate in an activity called "Les petits mineurs" (The little miners), which introduces geology and the transformation of ore into metal.

Located in a park of more than 7000 m2 of the forest, this accrobranche course will make you experience intense sensations in the middle of the Mont Pourri glaciers. Three types, of course, are accessible according to height: for children measuring at least 1m10, the "p'tits" course brings together around twenty workshops at the height of between 1m and 2m from the ground. From 1m20, they have access to 3 courses with 37 workshops located at a maximum height of 6 metres from the ground and from 1m45 to 5 additional courses with 67 workshops at up to 22 metres!
Learn something new
If you feel like leaping into the past to discover the customs of this Savoyard village, go to the museum. You will find three exhibitions that retrace the history of the valley and its inhabitants through objects testifying to the school of yesteryear, furniture and traditional clothes and the reconstitution of a Savoyard dwelling of the time. Admission to the museum is free, and you can visit it during the winter season, Monday to Thursday, from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Learn something new
Isabelle Desse, painter and illustrator, invites you to discover her work through a visit to her studio in Le Villaret, where her watercolour works are on display. You will be able to admire her paintings representing the mountain and its landscapes evolving with the seasons. A shop with postcards, books and reproductions will allow you to keep a souvenir of your visit. The workshop is open every day from 2 pm to 5 pm, except on Saturdays.
Learn something new
Located in Landry, Une Montagne de savoir-faire is a leather workshop for leather goods and saddlery and a boutique of French artisans specialising in furniture and decoration. All the production is top-of-the-range and 100% French, proposed by artisans in love with work well done and happy to share their passion with the visitors. The workshop is open from Tuesday to Friday or Saturday, depending on the season, from 9 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm.
Learn something new
Rainbow trout, brown trout and char await you in the glacier streams, springs and lake on the edge of the Vanoise National Park. Three areas are open to fishing from June to October: the west bank of the Plagne lake, the weir and the Bertou plan. Remember to ask the mountain lakes fishing association about the rules and regulations and how to obtain a day pass, as the activity is particularly well supervised.

Accessed on foot, during a 5-hour walk, it is a bit of a reward with its magnificent panorama of Mont Pourri and its view of Mont Blanc and the village below. This small high altitude lake situated at 2244 meters, at the foot of Croix Bozon, is quite frequented, although the itinerary which leads to it is pretty steep. It is, therefore, best reserved for good walkers.

An ideal family outing in bad weather, the Eterlou cinema offers two screenings a day, at 6 pm and 8.30 pm, and a third at 2.30 pm when the weather is not on. The programme is posted daily on the cinema's Facebook page and consists of the latest productions on show. Children's seats are available so that the little ones don't miss a moment of their favourite cartoon.

Don't look elsewhere! Only in Peisey-Vallandry can you taste this pastry made of wild blueberries, almond cream and macaroonade. Considered here as a "culinary treasure", it modernises the traditional blueberry tart by bringing a more decadent and greedier side to it. You can buy this sweet treat in the bakeries La Peiserote, Tou'Pain and Au petit Savoyard, but only during the summer, when wild blueberries are in season!

The Vanoise National Park was the first park to be created in France, and its primary purpose was to protect a symbolic species: the Alpine ibex or Capra ibex. Adjacent to the Italian Gran Paradiso National Park, they represent the largest protected area in Western Europe. An extraordinary setting in which you will take great pleasure in trying to catch a glimpse of some worthy representatives of the species and many other wild animals that inhabit the area.

For a relaxing summer holiday, the ski resort of Peisey-Vallandry is a good choice. In fact, the activities to be done during the summer season in and around this Savoie area are still very interesting. Start by discovering the Vanoise National Park (located between the Maurienne and Tarentaise valleys). At your disposal: a natural landscape extending over 535 km², to be discovered through 400 km of marked paths. You will be able to reach magnificent viewpoints, such as La Grande Casse, which is at an altitude of 3,855 m, during your walk.
If you would rather explore the resort of Peisey-Vallandry in particular, you can take one of the 5 marked trails offered by the domain. Your walk will reward you with breathtaking views of the Bellecôte massif or Mont Blanc.
The resort of Peisey-Vallandry also lends itself very well to cultural visits. The Peisey-Nancroix museum, the GAEC Alpine farm, the Landry leather workshop, etc., will help you discover the Savoie region from a different angle.
