What to do in Meribel?

The resort offers a wide variety of outdoor activities.

Meribel is an absolutely magical destination that cannot be summed up in a day spent on skis. To make your stay in one of our apartments or chalets as successful as possible, we have selected for you a wide variety of activities and addresses that will offer you the most beautiful memories.

What to do in Meribel during winter?

A winter holiday in Meribel is the ideal opportunity to explore the largest ski domain in the world: the 3 Vallees. However, this town is enough on its own for a unique discovery stay in the Alps. In fact, this season is ideal to indulge in a variety of fun and exciting activities.

As soon as you leave your apartment or chalet with ski access, you will be able to experience the incredible sensation of sliding. Especially as the slopes of this ski resort are suitable for all levels.

If you want to enjoy an original stay in Savoie, why not swap the traditional skis for enriching activities? Discover the preserved nature of the Alps through a horseback ride around the lake of Tueda in Meribel-Mottaret. This will certainly be a great way to recharge your batteries after a long week of work.

For even more thrills, why not opt for ski joëring? A ride on the back of a horse is an ideal way to combine the pleasure of skiing with the passion for this hoofed animal. For children, there is also joëring sledging, which is done on the back of a pony.

Of course, you can also choose the snowmobile and take the snowy routes of the resort as soon as you leave your apartment or exceptional chalet. Some circuits are even adapted to the mini snowmobile so that young and old can enjoy the ride in the mountains together.

What to do in Meribel during summer?

While this 3 Valleys ski domain is an excellent destination for winter vacations, it also has plenty to offer in the summer. In fact, you will certainly not be tempted to leave the room in your apartment or chalet in Meribel, no matter how comfortable it is.

During your stay in the mountains, you will have the possibility to follow the different hiking trails of the resort. From Meribel-Mottaret (but also from Courchevel), you can reach the summit of the Saulire (at 2 700 m of altitude). This walk will reward you with a breathtaking view of the 3 Vallees and Mont Blanc, and also the surrounding landscape. Also, explore the National Park of Meribel and Nature Reserve which is on the way to the Plagne plateau. Amongst the highlights of this place, the lake of Tueda remains a must.

If you want to take advantage of your stay in Meribel in summer to go cycling, mountain bike and VAE tracks are available. Simply organise your outings according to the routes you want to take. For example, don't miss the ascent of the Col de la Loze (starting from Pas du Lac and accessible from the Meribel-Mottaret ski lifts). At the end of the peak slopes, enjoy the splendid panoramic view that this place offers you.
