The Elf Park is made up of hanging nets and tree houses, as well as slides and tunnels that make for an extraordinary adventure. The programme includes solving challenges and puzzles with the "servans" (little elves) in the heart of the enchanted forest.

Go to the village of Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe (about ten kilometres from Les Saisies) to discover this exceptional museum. Dedicated to the tales and legends of the mountains, this magical place uses its enchanting setting to bring back to life the characters from our childhood fairytales. Cinderella, Snow White, Goldilocks, Little Red Riding Hood, Peter Pan... children will be delighted to discover them on stage. Older children can take a tour of the collections of objects and costumes that perfectly illustrate the region's most famous stories. Between the fun activities and interactive performances, you can also organise a sweet or savoury snack.

In the nearby village of Hauteluce (about ten minutes from Les Saisies) you can discover the historical heritage of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. This eco-museum displays a range of artefacts from the past, traditional costumes from the past and various temporary exhibitions. What's even more surprising is the reconstruction of an old home and a classroom, a real place of cultural preservation.

On the Col des Saisies, a monument commemorating the 1944 parachute assault will take you back a few years. As a reminder, on 1 August of that year, an extraordinary operation called "Ebonite" took place to supply the Resistance troops with arms and ammunition. From the centre of the village, you can walk to this emblematic site relatively easily in the mild summer weather.

Accessible on foot from the village centre, this chapel enjoys a privileged location on a hill close to the Pumptrack athletics track. Although the chapel did not hold its first mass until 2001, it is still a fine example of the modern architecture visible in the region. Open to visitors, this remarkable site also offers a glimpse of the skills of artists such as master glassmaker Max Ingrand.

This is a regional nature reserve of 300 ha. Situated between the Beaufortain and the Val d'Arly, at an altitude of between 1550 m and 1718 m, it is still an unspoilt habitat for a large number of animals (black grouse, mountain owl, cranberry peacock, etc.) and many incredible plant species (sundew, butterwort, andromeda, trientale...).

This walk is one of the must-do's during your stay in the resort of Les Saisies. It follows a 12km loop that starts in the centre of the village and leads to an incredible panoramic terrace. It offers spectacular views of the majestic Mont Blanc, the Aravis mountain range and the Val d'Arly valley. With a difference in altitude of around 600m, this walk is suitable for intermediate to expert hikers. (Note that the balcony can also be reached by the Chard du Beurre chairlift).

The resort of Les Saisies is part of the Espace Diamant and offers 77 km of ski runs. Of course, you can extend your exploration to the other resorts of the Val d'Arly/Beaufortain to have access to 192 km of playground this time.
Les Saisies has 61 marked downhill ski runs: 8 green runs, 32 blue runs, 13 red runs and 7 black runs. Among the unmissable ski runs in the heart of the resort are Les Eucherts, Mont de Vores and Mont Rond.
In addition to skiing, you can enjoy a myriad of mountain activities during your stay at the resort. The ski area of Les Saisies has 65 km of snowshoe trails which are spread over 7 marked routes. Why not also join the toboggan runs like the one along the Aiglon ski lift for some family fun? Les Saisies is home to two unusual attractions that you must try out during your stay: the Mountain Twister (sledging on rails all year round) and the Luge'N Troll (2 km of night-time sledging).
