What to do in La Plagne during winter?

What to do in La Plagne during summer?

If you want to get off the beaten track on your La Plagne holiday, visiting the village in summer is a great option. This is especially true if you want to do something in the great outdoors while enjoying the magnificent view of Mont Blanc from the ski area. The first option is to ride your mountain bike down the slopes of the Bike Park in La Plagne. Here you can pedal in peace through the downhill and Enduro routes that wind their way through the forests and alpine meadows. Use the lifts (available in July and August) to save time on your ascent. 

For even more adrenaline, you can book a flight over the Tarentaise in the Alps. Paraglide from Plagne Centre, Belle Plagne and Champagny en Vanoise to discover the region in a very original way.

Summer in La Plagne is also an opportunity to try white water sports. Take a trip down Isere, the famous river of the Tarentaise and the Alps and choose the activity that interests you most. Canoeing and rafting along the Aime rapids or the Centron gorges, kayaking in Macot-la-Plagne, hydrospeed from Aime-la-Plagne to Centron or canyoning from Plagne Montalbert, you are spoilt for choice.
