Courchevel: skiing for all

By coming to ski in Courchevel, you will have access to the great infrastructures of 8 resorts with a single pass: this is the strength of the 3 Valleys area.

Tracks as far as the eye can see, sometimes hidden by snow-capped pine forests but all linked by ski lifts, make this the largest area in the world and the essential winter sports destination in France.

You don't have to be an experienced skier to take full advantage of all the possibilities offered since more than half of the 339 runs are accessible to everyone (blue and green runs). There is even a specific plan if you want to evolve in the ski area and only on easy slopes.

Our favorite blue slope in Courchevel: Les Folyeres in La Tania for a gentle descent in the middle of the spruces

The most demanding skiers can set off on one of the legendary slopes of the Alps, including the black slopes of Jean-Blanc in Courchevel, Goitschel in Val Thorens or Leo Lacroix des Menuires.

The most difficult black runs in Courchevel:

  • The Grand Couloir: 692 m long, 49% average slope, 340 m vertical drop

  • Jockeys: 1393 m long, 37% average slope, 465 m vertical drop

For kids

The ski area has seen the big picture to appeal to the little ones!

The Western Ski Park of Courchevel brings together in a secure space, gentle slopes with carpets to learn the basics of skiing in the midst of teepees, cowboys and Indians.

The Stop Zone allows you to check your braking capacity in all circumstances after having measured your speed over a kilometer.

In addition to the 42 fun areas and slopes designed for juniors, the 3 Vallees ski area includes several Easy Riders areas. Dedicated to beginner skiers, they are made up exclusively of wide descents with gentle slopes to offer them to experience their first glides in all serenity.

For lovers of other sports

Surfers and riders from all walks of life will meet in one of the eight snowparks and dedicated areas of the 3 Valleys, of which here is a small selection.

The Family Park and the Wood Park in Courchevel are suitable for all practitioners with their easy to cross obstacles, their bumps and rails of all levels, the initiation boardercross and its jumps.

The VT Fun Ride in Val Thorens is a 900 m course dotted with games and creative modules to begin or improve in freestyle snowboarding.

The BK Park des Menuires offers a snowcross and a fun park accessible to all. You don't have to be a skilled freestyler to set off on this boardercross.

For off-piste enthusiasts

Appointment is made at the Freeride LAB of Courchevel: the best spot for lovers of powder snow and freerando.

Beginners in the subject can practice on an ungroomed but secure red and black.

Accompanied by an ESF guide, experienced all-terrain skiers will have the opportunity to discover an undisclosed area at the foot of the Aiguille du Fruit.

The Freeride LAB is all about safety: a DVA check and a DVA park have been installed respectively at the top and at the start of the ascent track.

Access to the Freeride LAB is from the mythical Creux Noirs spot. Allow 15 minutes of ski touring on a 600 m track and 100 m of vertical drop to get there.
