If you are seeking positive thrills that guarantee safety and excitement, try the descent of the Grand Couloir! It is an ungroomed track from the top of the Saulire located at an altitude of 2700 m. It is without a doubt the most difficult black slope of the 3 Valleys with its height difference of 340m and its final slope of 85%. This descent is much less densely populated, so you won’t risk bumping into anyone!

There is a hiking route shortly after Courchevel 1650 when you depart Lac de la Rosiere. It is located in the middle of impressive craters carved into the gypsum by rain and snow. What's more, you ask? In addition to this geological singularity, there is an exceptional panorama stretching from Mont Blanc to the main summits of the Vanoise. This hike on the Crêtes du Mont Charvet is moderate in terms of difficulty and takes about 5 to 6 hours to complete.

If they are above the age of 12, they will be able to accompany you on the Torrent du Doron de Bozel for a sporting course. The course is among the most famous things to do in France! A very cosy coffee shop-like tea room, the Polar cafe will delight you with its generous salads, homemade pastries and countless variations around coffee - and hot chocolate - as fanciful as they are delicious. Located in the old Maurienne station, on the Verdons slopes, this Savoyard restaurant owes its reputation as much to its generous seafood platters as to its enormous dessert buffet. It is a gastronomic affair that is not to be missed during lunch (from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.) and tea time (from 3 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.).

The head chef Stephane Buron now officiates alone after having long supported chef Michel Rochedy. Domaine Genoux Chateau de Merande, extends over 12 hectares of biodynamic vineyards. The speciality of the house: Mondeuse, a typically Savoyard red wine.
