The Pa I Raïm has taken up residence in the former home of the writer Josep Pla. In this rustic and intimate setting, the restaurant welcomes its guests in the shade of bicentennial lime trees or one of the house's rooms. The dishes offered follow the seasons. The menu is rich in tapas, fish and candied meats. And don't leave the table without tasting Chef Roseta's desserts, it is her passion, and she is very communicative.

The Butterfly Park, a small tropical zoo located in Empuriabrava, brings a little exoticism to the Costa Brava. More than entertainment, Butterfly Park is a place to educate the public about the animal cause.

Designed in 1990 by architect Ramon Espinosa, Golf d'Aro was subsequently recognized as the best European golf course by the European Society of Golf Course Architects. This 18-hole course is played in a breathtaking mountain setting located at an altitude of 300 m and just 10 minutes from the sea. The view from the golf course is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful you can find on the Costa Brava.

The Costa Brava is not just about its sandy beaches, this region that stretches from Portbou to Blanes has many facets, each more captivating than the last. There is nothing better than a road trip to capture all of its beauty. Here are a few stopovers not to be missed if you set off on the roads of the Costa Brava: the natural park of Cap de Creus, Cadaques, Figueras, Empuriabrava, Estartit beach, Pals, Begur, Tossa de Mar, Blanes and of course Girona.
Costa Brava also offers a myriad of activities to do throughout your stay or a week or a weekend.
For your holiday in the Costa Brava in the winter, you can, surprisingly, plan activities in the mountains. For example, you can take a walk on the slopes of the nearby ski resorts (La Molina, Masella, Núria and Vallter 2000, Guils de Cerdanya). Or in the summer, can also hike along the coastal paths overlooking the coves and beaches. A mountain bike ride is also a good family activity.
To discover the natural wealth of the region, opt for outings to the three natural parks of the Costa Brava. The maritime and terrestrial park of Cap de Creus is home to many natural and cultural gems. The Aiguamolls d'Empordà nature park (south of Empuriabrava) is a must for horse and bird lovers. Finally, the last natural park brings together three spectacular areas: Montgri, Islas Medes and Baix Ter.
Another highlight of your stay on the Costa Brava is walking the Ronde paths (an experience you can also enjoy with your children).
You could also spend the day swimming, either in one of the many stunning beaches of the region, or in the private swimming pool of your apartment, house or villa!
You may also be tempted to visit the small medieval villages of the Costa Brava. Pals, Peratallada, Palau Sator, Ullastret, Begur, etc., you will find various historical monuments that will make your stay in Catalonia a real moment of discovery.
