Tired of mountain biking? Try mountain scooters instead! Very easy to handle, the mountain trott' has electric assistance which will make your ride much more pleasant. For the more adventurous ones, it is possible to hurtle down the slopes from Jaillet to Combloux with this new machine: the adrenaline is guaranteed! As for the mountain bike, the ascent is done by ski lifts and you can enjoy this ride in summer as well as in winter.

If the Mont Blanc massif is never short of choices when it comes to climbing, it is in Combloux that you will find a truly spectacular playground. The village resort is a well-known granite quarry in the region and there are many boulders perfect for a climbing session in the Medonnet forest. There is something for all ages and skills, with the highest routes being up to 6 metres high.

Every Wednesday evening during the winter season, experience a magical moment on skis by taking part in the Echappee Rando. Wearing your touring skis with sealskinz and equipped with a headlamp, all you have to do is follow your guide on the gentle slope of the Creve-Coeur. The descent is then made at night with a headlamp. To take part in the Échappee Rando, a good level of skiing is required (red run level).

Come and compete against the best riders in the most demanding mountain bike race in the world! The MB Race will be held in Combloux and Megeve from 30 June to 2 July 2023 and will consist of 8 events, for young and old, ranging from 20 km to 230 km for the MB Ultimate. In its first edition in 2010, only one runner out of 600 reached the end of this infernal race. Will you be up to the challenge of joining the elite club of MB finishers?

Will you be lucky enough to be one of the very few guests to enjoy this ultra-confidential and highly prized restaurant in Combloux? If the address is so much talked about, it is both for its extremely small capacity and for the chef who is at the head of it: Christophe Crotet, trained at the Maison Troisgros and then with Paul Bocuse and Fredy Girardet. To reach this prestigious address, you will have to choose in winter between arriving by ski, snowshoes or helicopter for lunch and by snowmobile or snowcat for dinner. It’s an atypique meal!

The chef Matthieu Wojnowski welcomes you every day, for lunch and dinner, in his establishment with a menu that is revisited every season. The specialities of the house: the "moit-moit" fondue with two Swiss cheeses, with or without morels, truffles or fresh herbs, the beef and poultry pierrade or the mountain tartiflette. One of the most gourmet addresses in Combloux.

Adjacent to the 4-star hotel of the same name, the restaurant Aux Ducs de Savoie offers its guests two menus: gastronomic seasonal menus composed of a wide selection of fish, meat and regional specialities and an equally generous and tempting "snack" menu. Great care is taken in the presentation of the dishes and the choice of products to make your visit as pleasant as possible in this renowned establishment.

Above all, Le Dandy is a warm and welcoming establishment run by passionate people, where it is good to spend a moment in the immediate vicinity of the Biotop lake and with the Mont Blanc in the background.

What strange evil could be affecting the herd of cows at "Isidore's Farm"? The cattle are falling like flies one after the other without anyone knowing the reason. There's no other choice: we'll have to investigate! This activity is offered every Wednesday during the school holidays and is aimed at teenagers, especially those who love riddles. They will have a great time finding the key to the mystery hidden in "la ferme à Isidore", a jewel of the local heritage.

The first edition of this unusual run happened in September 2022, was such a success that it will obviously be held again in 2023. While waiting for the opening of registrations to all drivers and co-drivers aged over 9 years, you can already start building your little car by scrupulously following the technical sheet of the rules. Because, regardless of what people say, soapboxing is an art!

Rail sledging is certainly one of the most popular mountain activities. The 4S Toboggan at Le Jaillet, which can be used alone or in pairs, is a thrill with a maximum speed of 36 km/h, a 95-metre difference in height, and particularly sharp tunnels and bends. In operation all year round, it can be used at night every Thursday between mid-July and the end of August. Children aged 3 to 9 must be accompanied by an adult to start the ride.

What could be more fun than building an igloo or a hut, hiking with donkeys, gathering around a campfire, spending the night in a teepee, and sledding or canoeing? If your children are enthusiastic about all these activities, then they are just right for a little trapper's course. Organised by the resort over a period of 6 days, these courses are available in three options depending on the season (summer, autumn, winter) and the age of the participants: 4-5 years, 6-9 years and 0-13 years.

Fans of BMX, mountain biking, skateboarding, rollerblading and scootering will be delighted in Combloux as the resort has had a 210 metre long pumptrack, divided into 2 circuits, since 2016. Located in the Louparc, right next to the skate park, it is suitable for all levels of skaters with a red circuit of 110 metres and a blue circuit of 100 metres. The best part? The two circuits can be taken in both directions and have interconnections to increase the thrills!

A remarkable representative of the Alpine Baroque movement, the Church of Saint-Nicolas in Combloux is not to be missed under any circumstances! You will particularly appreciate its elegant 45-metre high double-bulb bell tower and its altarpiece with its carved wooden components, both of which are listed as historical monuments. A visit to this church is the ideal starting point for following the Baroque trail which stretches for 20 km between Combloux and Les Contamines Montjoie. On your way you will come across some of the most beautiful religious buildings in the region.

Following the course inside a cave, you will pass from room to room and admire the underground rivers. Numerous obstacles of low difficulty will spice up this rather unusual outing. All caving equipment is provided on site, just remember to dress warmly.

Laurenzio, a company specialising in Mont Blanc granite, invites you to discover the granite makers' trade. You will witness the transformation of this rock, from its extraction to its use as a work surface, fireplace, fountain or even as ice cubes to refresh your whisky! The visit is organised every Friday at 5pm and reservations must be made at the Tourist Office, at the latest the day before your visit.

The GAEC Val Mont Blanc farm opens its doors to you free of charge every day from mid-September to the end of May to watch the milking of its 70 dairy cows on the Bogneuse mountain pasture in Saint-Nicolas-la-Chapelle, at an altitude of 1600 metres. The milk collected is transformed on the farm into Reblochon, Abondance, Tomme, Raclette and yoghurts. All these cheeses and dairy products can be bought directly from one of the 3 shops at the exit.

Open all year round, these thermal baths are particularly recommended for respiratory, ENT, dermatological and rheumatological conditions, but there is no need to look for a medical reason to go there, relaxation and well-being are everyone's business.
During your stay in Combloux, you can opt for the typical winter activities of the Northern Alps. Of course, downhill skiing is a must for mountain holidays in Haute-Savoie.
Moreover, Combloux gives you access to two well-known ski areas. First of all, there is the Portes du Mont-Blanc ski area which includes several exceptional resorts (La Giettaz, Megeve-Le Jaillet, Cordon and Combloux). At the heart of this world-renowned ski area, you will find 100 km of slopes which are spread out between 1,100 and 1,930 m in altitude).
