The Balearic archipelago is a veritable paradise on earth. Made up of 5 main islands: Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza, Formentera and Cabrera, they offer a varied panorama of sea and mountains.
The Balearic Islands are full of heavenly spots and natural parks, not to mention typical villages, breathtaking coves and pine-filled mountains.
Whether you're on holiday with family or friends, each of the islands has something to suit every taste.
But setting off for the Balearics, it's worth finding out how long the flight will take. This will depend on your destination and the plane ticket you have booked. From Paris, allow around 1h40 to get to Mallorca and 2h to Ibiza. To get to Menorca, you'll usually need to make a stopover. You can also take the ferry from Barcelona. In this case, the crossing to Majorca varies between 5 and 7 hours.
The Balearic archipelago has a lot to offer, and there are plenty of reasons to spend your next holiday there. First of all, it's an absolutely beautiful place where it never gets cold. So it's perfectly possible to pack your bags in the middle of winter and head to this little corner of paradise for some sun and comfort. What's more, staying in the Balearics doesn't mean breaking the bank - on the contrary, it's a particularly affordable destination. Finally, there are plenty of activities to choose from, and something for everyone! In other words, you won't be bored for a single minute.

Once there, you'll be captivated by the magnificent sunsets. On each of the islands in the archipelago, you'll feel as if you're at the end of the world. You can admire the reflection of the sun on the sea.
The Balearics is an archipelago with a wealth of activities. You can go jet-skiing, windsurfing, scuba diving or even take a trip aboard a yacht or catamaran.
What's more, it's unthinkable not to try Spanish cuisine when you're in the Balearics. If you're looking for a change of scenery in an unusual setting, you can dine in an old farmhouse known as a "Finca". When you think of Spain, you immediately think of tapas. Most bars offer these famous dishes, served with a glass of wine or beer. The atmosphere is very friendly, and after tasting, you can sit back on a terrace and let yourself be carried away by the rhythm of the music played by small local groups.
