Hiking on the Rosiere and the Crête de Mont Charvet

There is a hiking route shortly after Courchevel 1650 when you depart Lac de la Rosiere. It is located in the middle of impressive craters carved into the gypsum by rain and snow. What's more, you ask? In addition to this geological singularity, there is an exceptional panorama stretching from Mont Blanc to the main summits of the Vanoise. This hike on the Crêtes du Mont Charvet is moderate in terms of difficulty and takes about 5 to 6 hours to complete.

The Lac de Courchevel Le Praz, also known as the fisherman’s paradise, is also the El Dorado for young and old alike looking to spend summer holidays cooling off in crystal clear water. Swimming is supervised here in July and August by professional rescuers. A snack service is also set up during the summer months, enough to treat children with waffles, pancakes and ice cream after a refreshing swim.
